I am a senior creative with 20 years experience in design. In the last 10 years, I have exclusively focussed on product, and UX research and design and have helped build products that have reached hundreds of thousands of users and have made their life easy at least in a small way. I can confidently say this as I have worked with local and the UK central government, as well as financial services and retail banks who have a customers base spanning – even exceeding those numbers.
I have worked on enterprise and complex software that required me to almost become an SME in their field so as to deliver simple yet clever solutions. I am a computer engineer by training and have an analytical brain which loves projects with complexities that I can get my teeth sunk in. It is also this training that puts me on the wavelength of developers and solution architects, who I work with very well to find solutions and implement them.
In my past life I have worked as an advertising creative director. I have extensive experience in aviation and hospitality from those days. You’ll find that I have here an eclectic portfolio with work from a variety of industries besides the ones I have mentioned here. I have run complete creative departments in the past encompassing teams of 10+ members.
I would like to think that I am a well rounded designer with experience across a broad spectrum of design disciples from traditional print and motion graphics in the past to the more modern and cutting edge UX research and design.
